Help: Reports
There isn't much point having lots of data at your disposal if you can't easily digest it in a nice report. The 88 Miles reporting system is simple, yet powerful — you have three report types to choose from:
- Project Reports: which allows you to see a breakdown how much work has been done and who did it presented as a set of bar graphs
- Staff Reports: which gives an overview of which staff member has been doing what for your clients prese ted as a set of bar graphs; and
- Timesheets: which allows you to generate timesheets that you can send to your clients. They can be printed, exported as XML or saved as Comma seperated Value (CSV).
Project Reports
Project reports are great if you want to see how much relative time you have spent on all of you projects.
The project reporting system allows you to filter projects by time range, staff member, status and shift tags. The default filter is all shifts in active projects be all staff members. To change the settings, scroll to the bottom of the report and change the settings in the filter area.
Staff Reports
Staff reports give you a break down of staff times.
Just like the project report system, you can set filters ont e staff reports — the default is all projects during the past week. You can also filter by both project and shift tags.
Timesheets
Many companies require timesheet summaries for their contractors, and the 88 Miles timesheet report system makes them simple! You can choose to print straight from the browser, or if you client requires them in a different format, export then as XML or save them as a Comma-seperated file (CSV).
The time sheet report system has the most powerful filtering system — you can filter by time range, staff member, project, project tags and shift tags. You can even automatically round times up to the nearest 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. If you do need to round a project, you can choose to round every shift, or just the total at the end by toggling the Round every individual shift options.
By default, the tiimesheet report system will show shifts from all projects and all staff members since the beginning of the week.
